RAMANATHASWAMY TEMPLE

Sri Ramanathaswamy temple is the historic and architectrual place built in 17th century. This temple is a part of the Char-Dham pilgrimage of the Hindus.  Ramanathaswamy Temple is one of the 275 Paadal Petra Sthalams, which have been honoured in songs of three Saivite Saints (Nayanars)– Appar, Tirugnana Sambandar and Sundarar.

AGNITHEERTHAM

Agnitheertham is sacred water body , which is near to 100 meters distance from Ramanathaswamy temple.  According to Hindu religious belief, Lord Rama took a bathe at the shores after killing Ravana. People also believe that taking a holy dip in Agnitheertham will wash off all their sins.

DHANUSHKODI TEMPLE

Dhanushkodi is a small deserted city town at the south-east of Pamban Island. Dhanushkodi  beach is the tourist spot with Gulf of Mannar on one side and Bay of Bengal from the other side. The name generally means end of the bow and is spot where Lord Rama built the bridge with floating stones.

FIVE FACED HANUMAN TEMPLE

This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman. According to religious belief, the faces are representative of five gods, namely Hanuman, Narasimha, Adivaraha, Hayagriva and Garuda. The devotees can view the Hanuman Idol covered in Senthooram.

NAMBU NAYAGIAMMAN TEMPLE

Goddess Dakshina Kali is worshipped in this temple mainly for good health and getting kids. It is located 8kms from Ramanathaswamy temple. The Gigantic bell in this temple when rang gives spritual energy surrounding the temple

JADA THEERTHAM

Lot of devotees visit this place as it is one of the Rameswaram sacred place. This is the place where Lord Rama and Lakshmana washed their hair (Jada) after killing Ravana.

ARIYAMAN BEACH

Ariyaman beach is the main tourist spot where the evening time can be spent in boating , water scooter rides . It is a superb spot for Picnics. It is also known by other name of Kushi beach.
