SRI RANGANATHA SWAMY TEMPLE , SRIRANGAM
This temple is considered as the one of the most important of 108 vishu temples (Divyadesams) and dedicated to Lord Vishnu located in Srirangam. The temple depicts the exact south indian culure and society. The temple is also recognized as Thiruvaranga Tirupati, Bhogamandabam, Periyakoil and Bhoologa Vaikundam. Tirucharapally rockfort also called as Malaikottai whch is a historic military construction and religious complex bulit on ancient rock. There are three rockcut famous temples in the fort , the Manikka Vinayagar temple at the downhill , the Ucchi Pillayar temple at the tophill and the Thaayumaanavar temple dedicated to Lord Shiva.

Ucchi Pillaiyar temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha located at the tophill of rockfort. The temple is small and devotees used to climb up the steep steps carved on the rock. At the top , we can visit the entire top view of Trichy , Srirangam , river Kaveria nd Kollidam.
